The curriculum in dentistry consists of four academic years. Each year contains three quarters (fall, winter, and spring) of approximately 12 weeks each; additionally, the third year and the fourth year have summer programs of approximately eight weeks. Because of an ongoing evaluation of the curriculum by the Curriculum Committee, clock hours and placement of courses may be different from that listed in the following distribution of instruction by clock hours.
