Department of Oral-Maxillofacial Surgery (full-time position)

Description:
Come have a major impact on a school, medical center, region and state by joining the School of Dentistry at the University of Mississippi Medical Center as faculty of the Department of Oral-Maxillofacial Surgery and Pathology. Candidates for this full-time, tenure track position at the assistant or associate professor rank should have an interest in predoctoral and residency education and scholarly activity, in both the dental school and hospital settings.

Candidates must possess a DDS/DMD, or DDS/DMD and MD, and must be board-certified or board eligible in oral-maxillofacial surgery. Experience in complex facial trauma, maxillofacial reconstructive surgery, dental implant surgery, and orthognathic surgery is desirable. Vigorous participation in faculty practice is expected. Salary and rank will be commensurate with education and experience. Women and minority surgeons are strongly encouraged to apply.
