Mission
The mission of the Department of Endodontics is to provide a learning environment to enable the student to develop an understanding of the biological/clinical principles of endodontics and the clinical skills to diagnose and treat uncomplicated pulpal/periapical disease processes. This learning environment will include classroom teaching, pre-clinical teaching, and a clinical teaching program that provides quality endodontic care for UMC School of Dentistry patients. In addition, the department will be an educational and service resource for UMC, the dental profession, and the citizens of the state of Mississippi.
