Find the UMMC Campus from Jackson International Airport

There are two routes to get to the UMMC campus from the airport:

1. Take the main road that exits the airport (International Drive - becomes Airport Road) and travel for 2.4 miles to Interstate 20.

2. Take I-20 West for 5.5 miles to I-55 North and take exit 46 (North Jackson/Grenada).

3. Take I-55 North for 3.6 miles to exit 98B (Carthage/Lakeland Drive/25South).

4. Take exit 98B (Carthage/Lakeland Drive/MS-25).

5. Turn left onto Lakeland Drive (West) and travel 0.4 miles to the UMMC Lakeland Drive Entrance.

6. Turn left into entrance and travel to stop sign (3-way stop).

7. Turn left. The School of Dentistry is on your right. Visitor parking is to your left.

1. Take the main road that exits the airport (International Drive - becomes Airport Road) and travel for 1 mile.

2. At the turnabout take right onto Airport Road (MS-475 N). Continue on MS-475 N for 3.8 miles

3. Turn left onto Lakeland Drive (MS-25 S) and travel 3.4 miles. The Lakeland entrance to UMMC is on your left.

4. Turn left into entrance and travel to stop sign (3-way stop).

5. Turn left. The School of Dentistry is on your right. Visitor parking is to your left.

Approaching from the north on I-55

1. Take exit 98B (Carthage/Lakeland Drive/MS-25).

2. Turn right onto Lakeland Drive (West) and travel 0.3 miles to the UMMC Lakeland Drive Entrance.

3. Turn left into entrance and travel to stop sign (3-way stop).

4. Turn left. The School of Dentistry is on the right. Visitor parking is on the left.

Approaching from the south on I-55

1. Take exit 98B (Carthage/Lakeland Drive/MS-25).

2. Turn left onto Lakeland Drive (west) and travel 0.4 miles to the UMMC Lakeland Drive Entrance.

3. Turn left into entrance and travel to stop sign (3-way stop).

4. Turn left. The School of Dentistry is on your right. Visitor parking is to your left.

Find the School of Dentistry

Enter the UMMC Campus from Lakeland Avenue. At the first stop sign take a left. Travel approximately 100 feet. The School of Dentistry is on your right. Visitor parking is in the lot on your left with a parking booth.

Find the Department of Biomedical Materials Science

The central office for the BMS department is on the 5th floor of the School of Dentistry. Once you exit the elevators, take a left into the main hallway. We are in Room D528 on the right side of the main hallway.
