My goal at the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry is to improve diversity, by actively recruiting junior college, four-year universities or colleges in the state of Mississippi, and those outside of the State of Mississippi with a high Mississippi student population.
Specifically, recruiting from the culturally, ethnically, and racially diverse population of Mississippi those pre-dental students who are academically prepared to succeed in a challenging dental educational environment and who possess those educational and personal qualifications that indicate future competence as dentists.
